Mount Pleasant Community Centre: 

Almost Intermediate Cuban Style Salsa

Get solid in the fundamentals and start learning super fun intermediate level Cuban style moves and movement through Rueda de Casino, Cuban Style Salsa danced in groups. Students must have the basics of Cuban Style salsa. No partner necessary...you'll find some there! No class Aug 4.

Intermediate Rueda [Summer]

Learn Cuban-style combinations as well as musicality through Rueda de Casino plus a little fancy footwork and beautiful body movement. Must know Cuban-style fundamentals to join. No class on May 19th.

The Beaumont Studios: 

Summer Workshop Series

Weekly workshop series! This series will include workshops with Mas Movement and guest instructors. Details TBA soon - stay tuned for more info!

When: Tuesdays, July 8th-August 26th, 6:30-9:00pm
Where: Beaumont Studios, 316 W. 5th Ave, Vancouver, BC (Enter through the red doors in the parking lot)

 

Advanced Rueda with Pepe [Summer 1]

All new Advanced Rueda moves with Timba Casino instructor Pepe Juarez. Learn fun and challenging new moves in this fun and fast-paced class!

When: Wednesdays, June 18th-August 6th, 6:15-7:30
Where: Beaumont Studios (316 W. 5th Ave - Enter through red door in parking lot)
Cost: 8 classes/$110-190 (Sliding scale - no one turned away for lack of funds)

**Sliding scale means that people who can afford to pay more help subsidize classes for people who can't afford to pay as much. It is a way of creating accessibility in a very unequal society where poorer people have less access to valuable services such as dance classes. "Market rate" is approximately $10 per hour of instruction.
