Mount Pleasant Community Centre: 

Beginner FUNdamentals

Learn the basics of salsa danced throughout Latin America as well as the Cuban style taught through Rueda de Casino (a group form of salsa danced in a circle). No partner, nor experience necessary. Just come ready to move, have fun and connect.

Intermediate Rueda

Learn Cuban-style combinations as well as musicality through Rueda de Casino plus a little fancy footwork and beautiful body movement. Must know Cuban-style fundamentals to join.

The Beaumont Studios:

Women's Body Movement

*All the salsa ladies, all the salsa ladies!* Come join Maria and Aidan for a women-only* class focusing on body movement, flavour and fun. We'll work on basic isolations and drills, play with adding some feminine flair into our casino dancing, and get sweaty with some reggaeton! Some salsa experience recommended.

**Sliding scale means that people who can afford to pay more help subsidize classes for people who can't afford to pay as much. It is a way of creating accessibility in a very unequal society where poorer people have less access to valuable services such as dance classes. "Market rate" is approximately $10 per hour of instruction.
